Where to start? Well, it has always been our intention to come to the Minack
and when we saw that Lark Rise was to be performed, what better route to
temptation? ;o)
And so when the clouds finally parted on the day of the show, we just knew
this was a sign of great things to come. We weren't to be disappointed.
This was our first visit to ANY theatre in all of our 20 odd years of
marriage and to be greeted by such courteous and enthusiastic staff, we just
knew this was a good call. The setting, as expected, was up there in
Gobsmack territory and everything was set for a great evening's
entertainment. OK the dolphins never showed but the gannets did their best
as stand-ins ;o)
Many thanks too must be expressed to the Tower Theatre Company for such an
impressive performance. You guys brought the characters to life as we hoped;
and then some. Well done! We hope your visit to the Duchy and to play at
such a unique venue has left a great impression; individually and
collectively. It must have. Consequently, you will be on our list of future
attendance should you return. We look forward to it!"
