The Slab Boys On this production we are currently seeking : Costume Designer : 1957 - Teddy boy look for the Slab boys. Set Designer : Slab needs to be authentic-looking and strong as it gets a lot of action. Window with working sink beneath. Generally a mess as everything is paint spattered. Lighting Designer Lighting is straightforward. Afternoon – evening in winter. Sound Designer : Music yet to be chosen. The Trials and Tribulations of a Trailer Trash Housewife On this production we are currently seeking : Sound Design : incidental music and occasional sound effects PLUS recreation (sound only) of a scene from a Jerry Springer type TV show Sound Operator : the above sound will be integral to the action and it will be a nice busy show to operate Lighting Operator : although lighting is very important to the atmosphere of the show, there are a limited number of cues. The operator will be required to also control the follow spot when the 'blues singer' is performing Costume Designer : the 4 main characters are all dressed in variations of trailer trash 'style' which could be fun. Front of House As we are a public theatre, we need to have a front of house team of two or three people for every performance to sell programmes, assist the audience, and evacuate the theatre in the unlikely case of an emergency. These are vital roles, but they are not onerous, and you get to see the show free! If you would be interested in joining the team of people who do this, please get in touch with the Tower's Front of House Co-ordinator, Alison Liney.
