BOWLING AT ROWANS
Who cared that it was a cold damp miserable June evening. Inside Rowan’s
Bowling Alley it was rocking! After a little lubrication, a good gossip with old friends
and the chance to meet some new (hello new members Caitlin McKiernan and
Rebecca Aspin) we hit the lanes.
Well what can we say! There were some seriously smooth moves going on. Ian,
loved your twinkle-toed fancy footwork! Andy you really handled your balls with
panache! And talking about seriously smooth moves - put her down - you know
who you are!!!
After a break for food - yum yum - and a bit more gossip and lubrication back to the
lanes. So who discovered that the ball is meant to go down the middle bit? Who
resorted to using the children’s bowling aid? And who started doing really well
once they put their handbag down!!!! But - most of all - who won?
Well - we’ll never know. But we forgive you Rowan’s for timing us out! We had a
fabulous time and if we do it again we promise we’ll shut up with the chat and
keep those balls rolling.
