The Friends of the Tower Theatre support our activities for an annual subscription of only £15. For this you have :

  • Advance information mailed to you
  • Reduced price tickets (normally a £2 reduction off the standard price).
  • A bi-monthly newsletter
  • Free admission to regular talks, musical and social events and playreadings.


We are especially keen to welcome new members for our production teams ...
Eighteen productions per year create lots of interesting openings so whether you are a beginner or an old hand, we would like to hear from you.

Here are the key production team positions :
  • Stage Managers, Deputies and Assistants
  • Set Designers and Builders
  • Lighting Designers and Operators
  • Sound Designers and Operators
  • Costume Designer and Wardrobe Assistants
  • Make up artists
  • Front of House
  • Publicity officers
