Dan is AAD with principal responsibility for securing rights.
Dan joined the Tower in 2012 and played Bobby in Coyote on a Fence, Gerry in Dancing at Lughnasa and Dennis in Loot. His directing credits include The Ruffian on the Stair, Our Country’s Good, Bear Hug, The Merry Wives of Windsor, The Crucible, Daisy Pulls It Off (Woodhouse Players) and The Comedy of Errors (Courtyard, Hoxton). In 2014 he directed the Tower’s production of After The Dance, in 2015 One Man, Two Guvnors, and in 2016 Road. This summer, he directed Wolf Hall for performance in London and Cornwall.
Karen is AAD with responsibility for developing the Artistic Team’s work experience programme with local schools.
Karen joined the Tower in 2017. Her credits include Assistant Stage Manager on Pravda, Assistant Director on Arcadia and Director of The Thrill of Love. As a writer, Karen’s radio plays have been broadcast on BBC Radio 4 and LBC and represented the UK in the Prix Italia awards. As a writer/director, her stage plays have been produced throughout the UK and off-off Broadway, been nominated for the Sunday Times Best New Play Award, and published by Methuen. Her short films have screened at over 30 international film festivals, winning six ‘Best Short Film’ and ‘Best Director’ Awards. Karen was recently selected for a directors training scheme with ITV’s Coronation Street, and is currently developing a feature screenplay and her next theatre and short film projects.
