You can’t hide from yourself

Raskolnikov is falling apart. Bouncing between euphoria and despair he sees the possibility of changing everything – through murder. In a chaotic world where the line between survival and destruction is wafer thin Raskolnikov seeks to prove to himself that he is a ‘Great Man’.

Chris Hannan’s stage adaptation of the classic novel of murder, guilt and redemption captures the dangerous excitement of 1870s Russia and takes us right inside the head of Raskolnikov, one of Dostoyevsky’s finest creations. There is tension, dark humour, and a nerve-shredding cat-and-mouse detective story.
