The 150 Club

The 150 Club was started during the 1980’s as a way of raising funds to help meet the expenses of the Tower Theatre, whilst at the same time giving subscribers a chance of a return on their donation.

Originally called the 100 Club (the hope being that we would get 100 people subscribing), the numbers gradually grew until it had to change its name.
For newer members, who may know very little about the 150 Club, the way it works is as follows:

Subscribers pay an annual fee of £12 which entitles them to be included in a monthly draw for one prize of £15 and three prizes of £10, plus an annual draw in which there is one prize of £125, one of £100, one of £75 and one of £50. The annual draw usually takes place in late summer at the Annual General Meeting.

Membership is open to all Company Members and Friends of the Tower Theatre, and more than one subscription may be purchased. It would be great if we had to change the name again – 200 Club? 250? A pound a month is very little to gamble and it is an easy way of supporting your theatre. If you would like an application form please phone the Tower Theatre Office on 020 7353 1700. And if you already have one subscription, why not double your chances by taking out another?
