The composer of the songs, Alan Blaikley, had this to say about the recent production of the show in London :
"The production was great and we enjoyed every minute of it as did the rest of the audience. Cast, musicians, design - all were excellent. Though the show is put on quite regularly all over the country this is the first time I have seen it since the original Wyndhams production twenty years ago; I can't imagine there has been a better version than this one."

Few people who reached their teens in the 1980s will have forgotten Adrian Mole's hilarious Secret Diary - a handbook of how not to cope with the real world. In this musical adaptation Sue Townsend keeps all the humour of the original. Meet the frustrated Adrian, his mother Pauline and her lover Mr Lucas from next door, Grandma, gorgeous Pandora, disgusting old Bert, the Mole dog, and all the others.
