Become a Member or Join the Friends

We welcome anyone interested in being part of the Tower’s community. With many ways to get involved, there’s something to suit everyone.

Join the Friends of the Tower – £20 per year

For £20 a year, join the Friends of the Tower and receive the following benefits:

  • Discount (normally £2) on tickets to Tower Theatre Company shows
  • Eligible to audition to join the Tower’s acting company
  • Admission to Friends events, including rehearsed readings, workshops and social events
  • Receive regular copies of our e-mail newsletter, Noises Off
  • Reduced rates for room hire at the Tower
  • Able to use our bar (not open to the general public)
  • Feel great about giving a donation to the Tower if you don’t take advantage of the other benefits

Friends of the Tower also help to promote our productions, encourage their social circles to support the organisation, and help out in other areas that match their interests and availability.

This recurring subscription will renew automatically each year, save you time and ensure you don’t lose any benefits. You can cancel this at any time in the Memberships section of your account.

Become a Member of the Tower Theatre – £60* per year

For £60 a year, join the Tower as a Member, and receive the following additional benefits:

Membership includes a commitment of not more than £1 should the charity be wound up.
Note that this commitment will last for 12 months after membership is ceased.

This recurring subscription will renew automatically each year, save you time and ensure you don’t lose any benefits. You can cancel this at any time in the Memberships section of your account.

If your circumstances make our normal membership rates unaffordable please contact the Tower Office outlining your situation and the Management Committee may offer a discretionary rate.

Memberships are also available for purchase over the phone or in person, but are subject to a £5 processing fee.

Alternatively, to pay by recurring direct debit (£15/quarter), please contact the Tower Office and they can set up a direct debit mandate. Payments will then continue automatically every quarter until you tell us you want to cancel your membership. Minimum one year membership.

If you haven’t already done so, please create an an account on the Tower web site, so that the direct debit can be attached to it. Then e-mail the [email protected] Tower Office to confirm the amount.

* A reduced rate of membership (£30 per year) is available for under-21s and full-time students. If you wish to take advantage of this reduction, please contact the Tower Office.
