Originally from Waterford, Ireland, Jill Ruane moved to London in 2006 and lives in Walthamstow.
Since joining the Tower in early 2007, Jill has been involved in numerous productions, both on stage and behind the scenes.
As a result, she was awarded the Frank Smith award in 2010 and has enjoyed a year of free shows. Jill is now looking forward to
getting back on stage herself. Her acting credits include Mairead in The Lieutenant of Inishmore, Irene in The Dresser,
Mary in Dublin Carol, Olwen in Dangerous Corner and Woman in Bash - Medea Redux.
Miss Julie is Jack Lowe's first production with Tower Theatre Company and follows closely on from a
run at the Bridewell Theatre with The Last Days of Judas Iscariot for SEDOS, with Jack playing the role of Judas.
The production went on to perform for an extra night at the Royal Courts of Justice.
Other productions include Curse of the Starving Class, Dancing at Lughnasa, and Drinking in America/The Law.
Roger Beaumont has been acting and directing professionally and in amateur theatre for over 30 years. For Questors Theatre, Ealing, he has directed
Design for Living, A Streetcar Named Desire, Closer, Duet for One, Waiting for Godot, Festen, Les Liaisons Dangereuses and Humble Boy.
For the Tower Theatre, Chapter Two, Aladdin, Neville’s Island, Outside Edge, The Gay Detective, Speed-The-Plow and, more recently, The Birthday Party
and A Doll’s House. Recent acting credits include Magwitch in Great Expectations and Max in Rock and Roll, both for Questors.
His next project is to direct Three Sisters for SEDOS at the Bridewell Theatre in late February 2012.
