How to join us

Anyone can buy tickets for our productions - but if you'd like to become more involved,
we have two types of membership ...
FRIENDS OF THE TOWER THEATRE
support our activities for an annual subscription of only £15. For this you have :
- Advance
information mailed to you
- Reduced price
tickets (normally a £2 reduction off the standard price for adults, and a £5 ticket price for children under 16).

A bi-monthly
newsletter
- Free
admission to regular talks, musical and social
events and playreadings.
We are especially keen to welcome new members for our production teams ...
Eighteen productions per year create lots of interesting openings so
whether you are a beginner or an old hand, we would like to hear from you.
Here are the key production team positions:

Stage Managers, Deputies and Assistants

Set Designers and Builders

Lighting Designers and Operators

Sound Designers and Operators

Costume Designer and Wardrobe Assistants

Make up artists

Front of house

Publicity officers
These are valuable skills to us, so don’t hold back!
If you would be interested in joining a fun, vibrant and busy theatre company and are
willing to wield a hammer, needle or laptop to create some magic on stage – drop us an

TOWER THEATRE COMPANY MEMBERS
can audition for all our shows
(up to 18 productions a year!) and vote at our Annual General Meeting ... all
for the bargain price of £50 a year!
To become an Acting Member you must join as a Friend of the Tower Theatre first.
You'll then be invited to come to a general Company Audition where you'll be asked
to perform two contrasting monologues for our audition panel.
Company auditions are held once a month. For more details contact
Peter Westbury (Auditions Co-ordinator) through
the Tower Theatre Office.
You can also join the
Company as a Non-Acting Member by simply applying to the
Company Committee and then paying your subscription.
There are three ways to join (for either type of membership) :

Acting with the Tower Theatre is only one way of being part of the Company.
To put on the show we also need Directors, Designers, Backstage Crews, Front of House staff,
Publicity ... the list goes on.
