Shakespeare in Shoreditch

In 2008, the Tower was invited to join in a book launch for the novel "Will" by Christopher Rush. This was held outdoors in the car park of the London College of Fashion in Curtain Road - right next to the site of our new theatre, and within feet of the the original 1576 Burbage "Theatre".

The Tower's actors presented several well-known scenes from Shakespeare to illustrate the author's talk about his book. The show was directed by Penny Tuerk and David Taylor.
