Wealthy patriarch Helge is celebrating his 60th birthday. Among the guests are his loyal wife Else, his daughter Helene, and sons Christian and Michael. Missing from the guest list is Christian’s twin sister Linda who has recently committed suicide. As the evening progresses Christian feels compelled to break the silence surrounding a dark family secret and the reason for his sister’s death. This stunning and unsettling play, by turns comic and incredibly tragic, plays out like a Danish version of the successful TV series Succession – on steroids!
