Spirits and devilry abound in this rural town. The superstitious new schoolmaster, Ichabod Crane, just wants to teach in peace, win the affection of Katrina Van Tassel and perhaps enjoy a slice of cake or two. However, the unusual townsfolk and haunting spectre of the Headless Horseman may have other ideas for him. In such perilous times, Ichabod would do well to keep his own head. . .
Adapted from the 1820 short story by Washington Irving, this take on one of America’s most famous ghost stories blends eerie suspense with playful humor. The Legend of Sleepy Hollow is a spirited theatrical experience for this Halloween season.

 Daniel Krmpotic is honoured to be making his Tower Theatre debut as Ichabod Crane in this production of Sleepy Hollow. Additional UK credits include Unloving (Loan Word/Etcetera Theatre) and the audio drama The New Real with BBC Radio 4. Originally hailing from Canada, select previous Canadian credits include three seasons at the Stratford Festival, Romeo and Juliet (Canadian Stage) and the feature film Albatross (Apple TV). Daniel’s training includes the Birmingham Conservatory for Classical Theatre, the Soulpepper Academy and a B.F.A in Performance Acting from Toronto Metropolitan University. Enjoy the show! |
 This is Ruthie Berk‘s first performance with the Tower. Ruthie has acted on and off the stage in LA, San Francisco, Okinawa, and now London, where she moved in the fall. Her theatre experiences range from narrating the magical world of Puffs to solving mysteries in Murder on the Orient Express to pirouetting through love triangles in Ring Round the Moon. Ruthie is thrilled to be part of Sleepy Hollow‘s hilarious, talent-studded cast! |
 Alexios Venieris is making his Tower Theatre acting debut in The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, having previously worked with the company as Assistant Director on Julius Caesar. He is delighted to be stepping onto the Tower stage for the first time — and into the eerie world of Sleepy Hollow. |
 Conrad O’Callaghan is very excited to be back on the Tower stage, having previously appeared in last year’s production of Flare Path. Recent theatre credits include a lead role in the original play Wonderscape at the 2025 Camden Fringe and an appearance at Rebound Productions’ Emerging Arts Festival (Winter 2026). Over the past year, he has also consolidated his Shakespearean repertoire, appearing as Claudio in a production of Much Ado About Nothing and the villainous Edmund in a production of King Lear. He is immensely looking forward to bringing this spooky and thrilling tale to life. |
 Holly Causer is an Actor/Director and this will be her fifth show at the Tower Theatre but her first time actually performing here! She has been Assistant Director on Telling It (for the 2024 Spring Forward), The Dark Room (2024), Ink (2026) and she directed 5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche at the beginning of 2026. Holly also directs films, and made her own short horror film Behind the Screams in 2024 which she also plays the lead. Another short film, The Bait, is currently in the festival circuit. Holly is a huge horror/comedy fan and is thrilled that this will be her debut performance at the Tower. |
 This is Julia Malinowska‘s first show with the Tower but not her first time on stage. When she was five, no kindergarten show would happen without her – and she knew everybody else’s lines! She’s had a great time making this spooky, funny show with an incredible cast and crew so she hopes everyone in the audience has a great time watching too. |
 This is Cordelia Hennessy‘s third production at the Tower, after Moby Dick in 2025 and Translations earlier this year. Cordelia trained for two years on the part time acting course at Rose Bruford College. As well as performing, Cordelia also teaches a Beginner’s Acting Class in South London once a week, alongside her day job at a Special Educational Needs School. |
 Fiona Makia returns to the stage in The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, having previously appeared with the company in After Life, Rockets and Blue Lights and Jerusalem. Other credits include the formidable Madame Arcati in Blithe Spirit, and roles in Les Dangerous Liaisons and One Man Two Guvnors with Pinner Players. Fiona also maintained an active theatre life while living and working in the UAE, performing across a range of productions. A devoted horror fan, she relishes nothing more than a good scare — though she’s equally happy chasing a laugh. Expect her to bring both mischief and menace to Sleepy Hollow’s eerie woods this season. |
 This is Richard Tinworth‘s second performance with Tower after having played the Professor in Jerusalem earlier this year. He has completed an MA in acting at ArtsEd and has taken classes at RADA and Lee Strasberg. His recent roles include Sebryakov in Uncle Vanya with the City Academy Actors company and Silvius in As You Like It at the Theatre-in-the-Square. He is thrilled to be back at the Tower once again working with another marvelous cast and crew. |
 Mark Joyce has a background in film production and has been a member of the Tower since 2019. He has previously worked on Sweat, Mules, The Towers 90th year celebration, Spring Forward and The Secret Garden. He also directed the short plays Bloody Mary and The Ten-Minute Play about Rosemary’s Baby for the horror anthology show Ghost Stories in 2022. Mark likes Halloween and hopes you do too. |
