We want our audiences to feel as safe as possible and we understand that not everyone is ready to return to full capacity in our venue so the performance Saturday 5th November at 3.00 will be a socially-distanced performance. This means we will operate with reduced capacity, spaced seating and our Front-of-House volunteers will wear face coverings. Audience members are asked to wear masks unless they are exempt.
Six aspiring authors meet on a winter’s evening to discuss their work. The chairman, Arnold, attempts to persuade the group to collaborate on a piece of writing, an idea that is quickly dismissed. However, as Arnold is clearing up after the meeting there is a clap of thunder, a blackout – and then the story that would have resulted from their collaboration takes place before his very eyes. Sharp comedy and affectionate satire characterise this zany, imaginative play.
